Sign #20 - The Jews Will Begin To Believe In Jesus Christ

The Prophet Nephi again, talks and prophesies to his brethren (and US)   about the Jews.

2 NEPHI 30: 1 - 8

1 And now behold, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you; for I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be. For behold, except ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall all likewise perish; and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed.

2 For behold, I say unto you that as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent shall be cast off; for the Lord covenanteth with none save it be with them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel.

3 And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, (The Book of Mormon - Stick of Joseph - which he is now recording and YOU are NOW reading) and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed.

(He is speaking of his descendants, the Indians, and others of the Tribes of Israel) (Which may include YOU who are reading this, and may not know it as yet.)
4 And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews.

5 And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; (The RESTORED GOSPEL) wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers

(Jesus Christ appeared to them after His Crucifixion in 34 A.D. and is recorded in the Book of Mormon or Stick of Joseph)
6 And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; (Meaning their NOT KNOWING or UNBELIEF) and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a pure and a delightsome people(This is another story by itself)
7 And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people.
8 And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth.

Much of the bitterness about Jesus Christ has stopped and He is considered a Great Rabbi only.  Some have come into the True Church along with Ephraim and some of the few  from the Lost Tribes who have accepted the Restored Gospel.

The majority of the Jews, it not all, will come into the church at the Battle of Armageddon, when Jesus Christ will appear to them on the Mount of Olives.

At that time, according to a Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet to the Church, at Kirtland, Ohio, 7 March 1831:

51 And then shall the Jews look upon me and say: What are these wounds in thine hands and in thy feet?
52 Then shall they know that I am the Lord; for I will say unto them: These wounds are the wounds with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. I am he who was lifted up. I am Jesus that was crucified. I am the Son of God.

(This is a Revelation to a Prophet of God, telling him to record this on what is going to happen at that day)

8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem

(Battle of Armageddon in the Valley of Megiddon - where the name comes from)

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

The Revelation that The Prophet Joseph Smith received, is also recorded by:

6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
