Sign #28 - Inventions And Scientific Progress Hits the World

The things from the 1800s on are blessings from God for all mankind.  As we can see in the Scriptures, Ancient Prophets could see the Latter Day use of Tanks, Trains and Airplanes and probably many other achievements that we would have.  Examples:

REVELATION 9: 5-10

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.  (Trains ?)

9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.   (Sounds like Jets)

10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

Nahum recorded some in his record.  They could only describe it in the knowledge that they had at that time.  Nothing could be matched with what they had.

NAHUM 2: 3-5

3 The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.  (sounds like tanks)

4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall jostle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.  (This sounds like they saw Automobiles and trucks).

We have already seen the discovery of Electricity, Lights, Television, Telephones and wireless ones, Radio, Computers, iPads, Watches, Steam Engines, Automobiles, Airplanes, Railroads, Atomic Energy, Weapons of all types, Medicinal Drugs, Surgical achievements and many other things.

We all take these things for granted, but it looks like miracles to them, and really should to us, but we are use to them.  Some of these things were and are built upon the discovery of some of the others.

Many of these things were inspired by God to certain men to generate things to spread the Gospel in the Last Days because there would be only a short time to get it done. 

Take for instance, the Computer.  Programs and Information can go around the world, LIKE THIS BLOG, so the Lord's Gospel can go to every Nation, Kindred Tongue and People.  It can also gather information on Genealogical Research. 

Planes to move Missionaries, Prophets and Apostles to their destinations quickly. 

Televisions and Cable facilities to bring the Broadcast of:

General Conferences to all people, world wide and on the Internet.
