We hear about wars, and disruption in many countries and wonder, what is happening.
These things have all been predicted by the Prophets, Ancient and Modern.
The first Prophet in these Last Days, the Prophet Joseph Smith, was told by the Lord, the following:
Revelation and prophecy on war, given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, 25 December 1832:
D & C 87
1 Verily, thus saith the Lord concerning the wars that will shortly come to pass, beginning at the rebellion of South Carolina, which will eventually terminate in the death and misery of many souls; (The Civil War started 12 April 1861 at Fort Sumpter)
2 And the time will come that war will be poured out upon all nations, beginning at this place.
3 For behold, the Southern States shall be divided against the Northern States, and the Southern States will call on other nations, even the nation of Great Britain, as it is called, and they shall also call upon other nations, in order to defend themselves against other nations; and then war shall be poured out upon all nations.
4 And it shall come to pass, after many days, slaves shall rise up against their masters, who shall be marshaled and disciplined for war.
(These Slaves are spoken about ABOVE are NOT ONLY the slaves in the Civil War, but in the Last Days, ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE TREATED AS SLAVES, this will pertain to them, IN ALL NATIONS).
5 And it shall come to pass also that the remnants who are left of the land will marshal themselves, and shall become exceedingly angry, and shall vex the Gentiles with a sore vexation.
6 And thus, with the sword and by bloodshed the inhabitants of the earth shall mourn; and with famine, and plague, and earthquake, and the thunder of heaven, and the fierce and vivid lightning also, shall the inhabitants of the earth be made to feel the wrath, and indignation, and chastening hand of an Almighty God, until the consumption decreed hath made a full end of all nations;
(So, the Lord is not only using wars, He is using Nature to make the Nations feel his Wrath and Chastening hand, until ALL the Wicked in ALL Nations are wiped out.
7 That the cry of the saints, and of the blood of the saints, shall cease to come up into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, from the earth, to be avenged of their enemies.
8 Wherefore, stand ye in holy places, and be not moved, until the day of the Lord come; for behold, it cometh quickly, saith the Lord. Amen.
(We have been told that HOLY PLACES are Temples, Churches but mostly, in this instance, THE HOME. Have your Food Storage and Emergency supplies and items of protection and BE NOT MOVED, which is saying, DO NOT GO OUT, it will be dangerous, TIL HE COMES.
That's why you have all you need. Stores will be empty, so what you have is what you have. Prepare for every needful thing, OR ELSE...
87 For not many days hence and the earth shall tremble and reel to and fro as a drunken man; and the sun shall hide his face, and shall refuse to give light; and the moon shall be bathed in blood; and the stars shall become exceedingly angry, and shall cast themselves down as a fig that falleth from off a fig tree.
88 And after your testimony cometh wrath and indignation upon the people.
(Your Testimony, like I am giving you now, the preaching to the Missionaries out there, telling the World. When people are listening Less and Less, then The Lord will preach through Nature)
89 For after your testimony cometh the testimony of earthquakes, that shall cause groanings in the midst of her, and men shall fall upon the ground and shall not be able to stand.
90 And also cometh the testimony of the voice of thunderings, and the voice of lightnings, and the voice of tempests, and the voice of the waves of the sea heaving themselves beyond their bounds.
91 And all things shall be in commotion; and surely, men’s hearts shall fail them; for fear shall come upon all people.
This TESTIMONY and these VOICES are The Lord calling his sons and daughters to REPENTANCE. Many will NOT REPENT, and He knows it, but He is going to TRY so that THEY WILL NOT have an EXCUSE at the time of JUDGEMENT.
When this does not work, REAL BAD Destruction will come at the Opening of the Seventh Seal. This is only Sixth Seal events telling the people to WAKE UP.
The wicked will destroy the wicked. That's already happening in Europe and Asia, which may surprise you, is on a SMALL SCALE compared to what is coming, even here in the United States.
Here are some more Scriptures.
D & C 97: 22-26
22 For behold, and lo, vengeance cometh speedily upon the ungodly as the whirlwind; and who shall escape it?
23 The Lord’s scourge shall pass over by night and by day, and the report thereof shall vex all people; yea, it shall not be stayed until the Lord come;
24 For the indignation of the Lord is kindled against their abominations and all their wicked works.
25 Nevertheless, Zion shall escape if she observe to do all things whatsoever I have commanded her.
26 But if she observe not to do whatsoever I have commanded her, I will visit her according to all her works, with sore affliction, with pestilence, with plague, with sword, with vengeance, with devouring fire.
So, modern warfare, as we see it, began way back in the Civil War and since then, there has been War and Preparations for War somewhere on the earth at any given time.
This will all end in the War against Israel, where 200 million will gather in the Valley of Decision, which battle is called Armageddon.
That army Will be thinking it is their Idea. IT IS NOT. The Lord said HE WILL GATHER THEM ALL TOGETHER at that time, to destroy them all at once.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
This is where the LORD HIMSELF will come to Fight the Battles of the Righteous.
He has told us that He would be our Champion and Fight our battles, as David was Israel's Champion against Goliath.
