Sign #34 - The Angels Of The Lord Are Now Reaping The Earth

Here is knowledge you may NOT know and you should.

This revelation given from the Lord, through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Fayette, New York, 2 January 1831 to His Church:

D & C 38: 8-12

8 But the day soon cometh that ye shall see me, and know that I am; for the veil of darkness shall soon be rent, and he that is not purified shall not abide the day.

9 Wherefore, gird up your loins and be prepared. Behold, the kingdom is yours, and the enemy shall not overcome.

10 Verily I say unto you, ye are clean, but not all; and there is none else with whom I am well pleased;

11 For all flesh is corrupted before me; and the powers of darkness prevail upon the earth, among the children of men, in the presence of all the hosts of heaven

12 Which causeth silence to reign, and all eternity is pained, and the angels are waiting the great command to reap down the earth, to gather the tares that they may be burned; and, behold, the enemy is combined.

This was also given in the 1830s, a Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Kirtland, Ohio, 6 December 1832:

D & C 86: 4-7

 4 But behold, in the last days, even now while the Lord is beginning to bring forth the word, (The Restored Gospel, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants (D&C) and other scriptures for our day) and the blade is springing up and is yet tender

5 Behold, verily I say unto you, the angels are crying unto the Lord day and night, who are ready and waiting to be sent forth to reap down the fields;

6 But the Lord saith unto them, pluck not up the tares while the blade is yet tender (for verily your faith is weak), lest you destroy the wheat also.

(The Blades are the blades of Wheat or the Righteous, the Tares are the Wicked. Think. If you plant a garden and the plant is just coming above the surface and a weed is next to it, you Do Not Pluck the Weed (the tare) until the plant (the blade) is a little stronger or you will destroy the plant. Patience).

7 Therefore, let the wheat and the tares grow together until the harvest is fully ripe; then ye shall first gather out the wheat from among the tares, (what the modern Christian World refers to as the Rapture) and after the gathering of the wheat, behold and lo, the tares are bound in bundles, and the field remaineth to be burned.

On June 24, 1894, Prophet Wilford Woodruff said this, recorded in his Discourses, given in Brigham City, Utah:

"The priesthood of God who honor their priesthood, and who are worthy of their blessings are the only ones who shall have this safety and protection. They are the only mortal beings.

"No other people have a right to be shielded from these judgments. They are at our very doors; not even this people will escape them entirely. They will come down like the judgments of Sodom and Gomorrah"

"And none but the priesthood will be safe from their fury"

"God has held the angels of destruction for many years, lest they should reap down the wheat with the tares".

"But I want to tell you now, that those angels have left the portals of heaven, and they stand over this people and this nation now, and are hovering over the earth waiting to pour out the judgments".

"And from this very day they shall be poured out. Calamities and troubles are increasing in the earth, and there is a meaning to these things".

The next twenty years will see mighty changes among the nations of the earth.

(Wilford Woodruff, The Discourses of Wilford Woodruff, edited by G. Homer Durham [Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1969], 229.)

JUST FOR NOTE: Almost 20 years later, 28 June 1914 the Archduke Ferdinand of Austria was killed and just after that, THUS INITIATING the First World War.

Just another Note: This is the Prophet who dedicated the Salt Lake Temple.
